I’m a born-again freshman attending CVCC. I’m not taking a
lot of classes this semester. Although there is one subject that I feel I
should be putting the most amount of effort in to improve. That subject is English.
I hope to improve being able to translate my thoughts on to paper for other
people to digest. Its easy to speak from the heart and let ideas flow on to the
paper. Improving the organization of those free thoughts, I feel is the hard
part. The other part of writing that I wish to improve is being able to put a
lot of details in my writing and allow my readers to be in the moment with me.
These are the most important parts of writing I know will help me overall
become a better communicator. I feel as though being able to articulate
fluently for others to understand is very important. Improving these skills will
help me in the future when it comes time for me to start up my own business and
in life in general. Communication is key in this world and that skill is what I
mostly would like to gain from this class.
